After reading about the concept of how rap's influence on foreign countries is due in part to the cultural diffusion, I was at first shocked to even hear that rap is remotely popular within the Eastern part of the world. I know that rap has only emerged as a popular genre of music less than 2 decades ago and already its becoming prevalent in European countries.
Also, on the more disturbing side, I was disgusted to read on how certain cultures have a practice in which they close the female vagina in order to prevent either adultery or premarital sex.
